October

Oh Autumn, singing with colour.

Sing To Me, Autumn

Sing to me, Autumn, with the rustle of your leaves.
Breathe on me your spicy scents that flow within your breeze.

Dance with me, Autumn, your waltz that bends the boughs of trees.
Now tell me all the secrets you've whispered to the seas.

Sleep with me, Autumn, beneath your starlit skies.
Let your yellow harvest moon shimmer in our eyes.

Kiss me, Autumn, with your enchanting spellbound ways
That changes all you touch into crimson golden days.

Love me, Autumn, and behold this love so true
That I'll be waiting faithfully each year to be with you.

Oh the bright colours and the bounty of the season!

We took a quick trip to the Okanagan Valley this past weekend: gorgeous weather and good food and wine.

Lots of grapes still on the vine.

On the way back we drove through Princeton where the story was the gas prices:

Best prices we've seen in a while and also thought you wouldn't believe me so took a picture.

Other story is the smoke between Princeton and the lodge in Manning Park.
Visibility was very poor, I don't know if this is still the Heather Lake fire that started in September, but it is obviously still a problem.

News from the studio:

I will be at the Great Gifts Sale:

Great Gifts show at the Ferry Building from Nov 18 – Dec 18, 2022

I will have Christmas Cards and wood and polymer clay decorations in this exhibition.

Here is the final painting for the November show at Gallery 1710, this one from my photo. It is going to be in the Foundations and Inspirations Show October 28 to November 20, 2022.

This show is inspired by photos taken by guild members and there families.

I am going to be travelling, but more on that in the next blog.

Here are a couple of  things I thought were funny, hope you think so too!

Well that is all for this time,

happy Wednesday, with whimsy,
